While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I discovered behind its threshold was disturbing and far below any standard .

From the moment I entered , it was apparent that cleanliness was not a priority at this venue. The floors were sticky , and a nauseating aroma of uncleaned spills and dirty bathrooms polluted the entire bar . With a smell of a mixture of excrement , putrefaction and a sickly smell. The counter , which should be the primary feature of any pub, was piled high with used mugs and refuse that looked like it hadn’t been touched in ages . The bathroom was in even a more revolting state — backed up, with a broken handle and walls stained in what I can only assume was human waste .

For a business that serves drinks , these issues are absolutely intolerable and raise serious concerns about the quality of anything they serve .
